A number of novel initiatives will be provided through the Collaborative, including:
TEAP Registrars being offered clinical placements in partnership with respected international centres, ideally on an exchange basis with accredited ROMPs.
Offer a ‘flexi-track’ postdoctoral fellowship ‘Residency Program’. The Fellows would assist in TEAP registrar training whilst addressing their own training deficiencies.
Increase flexibility and training collaboration provision between public and private Radiation Oncology sectors
Provide a state-of-the-art 3D radiation oncology simulation environment (3D-ROSE) facility within Queensland, the first of its kind in the southern hemisphere. (3D-ROSE (Radiation Oncology Simulation Environment)
The Key Performance Indicators will be
Recruitment of Registrars to training positions
Successful completion of TEAP
Enhanced expertise profile facilitated by research-orientated Post-Docs
